Early Spring Shopping 2013: Home Edition

Is it spring yet?! No, Amanda, you’re supposed to get 2 feet of snow tonight. Oh, that’s riiiiight. Damn.

Well, around the time when everyone grows weary of the current season, companies start filling our mailboxes with the impending season’s hottest “must haves.” Instead of folding over the pages of magazines signaling things I love, I’m going to throw ‘em on here. We can all drool together.

Normally, CB2 is just eye candy, as most of it is too modern for my taste, but I found a couple of cool items in their most recent catalog. I’m digging this botanical pillow ($34.95) for it’s embroidery and that green that I love.

I think this kabasa vase ($29.95) is awesome. Cool shape, cool texture, and white. Love. It reminds me of the special vase I picked up at the thrift shop. That story here.

Then I started perusing the Garnet Hill catalog and that is always trouble. They had a lot of awesome new offerings. I was digging the geometric print and happy yellow color of this guy. ($458 for a 5’x8’)

This bedding features a charming mum pattern that speaks to me. And they’re on sale ($103 for a queen duvet cover)!

This rug ($98 for 3’x3’ round) would look so perfect at the top of our stairs. Maybe I’ll ask for it for my birthday. Matt, you listening? I looooooove it.

Y’all know I’m blanket-obsessed, right? How charming are these weekend knit throws? ($98)

I stumbled upon a new catalog in the stack from “Mark and Graham.” These guys fall under the Williams-Sonoma umbrella (PB, West Elm, etc) and from what I can tell, they specialize in monogrammed gifts. I love these heart mugs ($26). So perfectly timed for Valentine’s Day but fun to use every day of the year.

Mark and Graham also had these linen napkins that are so sweet! At 4 for $48, they aren’t cheap, but the bold border and the funky typography is really cool.

I want it all! Although, if I had to pick one of these finds to buy, I’d go with the colorful, circle rug from Garnet Hill to cheer up the stair landing. Your turn! If you had to pick just one, what would you take home? Leave a comment below! I want to hear!
